Remembering Rachel and those she sought to help.

In the midst of debates about TEFL, we can often forget about the wider world. With this in mind, it might be useful to pass some time thinking about the tragic death of Rachel Corrie. It was the sixth anniversary of her murder this week. What Rachel’s death stirs in us is a terrible sense of injustice and an equally uncomfortable sense of how we have come to see Palestinian deaths as somehow less worthy, less touching.
